Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to work from home while engaging closely with your clients through virtual platforms. Our outpatient office offers a collaborative atmosphere where you will connect with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, who share a common goal of improving the lives of those we serve. Our work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility necessary to address patient needs and ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ mental health needs and facilitate the creation of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to fit the individual circumstances and backgrounds of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care, sharing insights and strategies that maximize patient outcomes.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support in high-pressure situations to effectively manage mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation that adheres to all ethical and legal requirements, ensuring accurate records for each patient.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and a deep commitment to applying evidence-based treatment approaches with cultural responsiveness.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy that emphasizes inclusivity and cultural understanding.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, displaying a calm and focused demeanor in challenging situations.

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to build and maintain trusting relationships among diverse populations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure streamlined operations and effective documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing teletherapy services, with familiarity in using virtual platforms for counseling.

• Previous experience working in a remote or outpatient setting with flexible scheduling requirements.

Compensation and Benefits\n
