Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' unique mental health concerns and formulating effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Providing individual therapy sessions that utilize proven therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborating with clients to establish measurable therapeutic goals and consistently monitoring their progress throughout the treatment process.

• Offering teletherapy options to clients who prefer virtual sessions or face challenges accessing traditional office visits.

• Documenting client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities through workshops, training, and peer consultations to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed about the latest practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse and dynamic client population, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds, each requiring unique approaches to care. Your ability to empathize and create a safe space will be vital in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should possess:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients.

• A deep sense of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and challenges.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage your caseload and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in private practice settings and proficiency with electronic health record systems will be preferred. Experience conducting remote therapy sessions will also be advantageous given our flexible and remote stance on service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
