As a key member of our outpatient counseling practice, you will provide specialized care to help clients navigate their healing journey, particularly those coping with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a mental health counselor who prefers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while fulfilling critical responsibilities. While the majority of your work will be conducted from your home office, you will also engage with colleagues and clients through virtual meetings and sessions. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on clients' needs to ensure they receive the most effective care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Noble Counseling, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that explore patients' trauma histories and help identify their unique therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and the overall mental well-being of your patients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring the application of best practices in trauma care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for clients to process their experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care, ensuring each client receives cohesive treatment approaches.

• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate interventions, offering support during trauma-related emergencies as they arise.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, providing them with resources to support ongoing healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical or counseling setting, working with trauma-affected populations.

• A robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and respond effectively to crisis scenarios.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications relevant to clinical work.

Compensation and Benefits\n
