Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process trauma and build robust coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential, and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continued education to stay current with advancements in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting focused on trauma.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, empathetic approach.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
