Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and design personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that create a safe space for patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and enhance their emotional resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring comprehensive treatment for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your skills to stabilize and assist clients in immediate distress.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms by offering resources that empower their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate record-keeping.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings to stay informed on the latest trauma treatment methodologies and best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, with a particular emphasis on those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, non-judgmental care to clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications for managing patient documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
