Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor individualized treatment approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating spaces for patients to process their trauma and develop essential coping strategies.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources tailored to their needs.

• Maintain precise and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality documentation practices.

• Engage in case consultations, collaborative team meetings, and continuous professional development related to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clients you will serve are individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and community violence. Our patient population often struggles with complex issues related to PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders stemming from their traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
