Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and establish effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at supporting trauma recovery processes and enhancing patient resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate engaging group sessions that allow patients to share experiences and learn from each other, promoting collective healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive, integrated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and valuable community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on clients who are navigating the complexities of trauma-based issues. Your role is pivotal in providing them with comprehensive treatment tailored to meet their unique needs while supporting their journey towards healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
