Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a patient-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively manage mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care techniques to enhance their understanding and coping strategies.

• Continuously monitor and track patient progress throughout the therapy process, adapting treatment plans as needed based on client feedback and clinical outcomes.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client sessions and treatment plans, consistent with legal and ethical standards to ensure quality and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
