Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the unique histories and needs of patients, allowing for tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing recognized methodologies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, build coping strategies, and encourage pathways for healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, fostering holistic treatment methodologies.

• Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available resources to promote empowerment and understanding.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Holds a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant setting.

• Strong knowledge base in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that foster recovery.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
