Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma history, needs, and treatment goals.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to coordinate holistic care for clients, ensuring that all aspects of their treatment are integrated and effective.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and therapeutic interventions available through our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adult clients, addressing complex psychological issues stemming from trauma. Our clients often exhibit symptoms related to PTSD, anxiety disorders, and emotional dysregulation. Your role will be vital in creating individualized, respectful, and client-centered care plans that acknowledge the unique stories and backgrounds of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical or counseling setting.
