Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and tailor individualized treatment plans that promote resilience and recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive atmosphere where clients can process their experiences, learn coping strategies, and work towards healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive and integrated care tailored to their unique needs.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention for clients facing trauma-related emergencies, helping them to stabilize and navigate their challenges.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to foster empowerment and informed choices.

• Maintain meticulous electronic records to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in patient documentation.

• Engage in professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing training focused on trauma-informed care and therapeutic practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in trauma treatment to continuously enhance your therapeutic approach and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with complex histories that affect their mental health. Our clients often present with PTSD, complex trauma responses, and various dissociative disorders. By employing trauma-informed care principles, you'll contribute to creating a safe space where clients can express themselves and embark on their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Proven ability to implement trauma-informed therapeutic practices, advanced communication skills, and a compassionate demeanor in client interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using telehealth technologies to deliver therapeutic services effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value enthusiasm for growth and learning within this field. Compensation and Benefits\n
