Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, taking into account each patient's unique trauma history to determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during one-on-one and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients work through their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster a supportive healing environment.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and provide reassurance in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of the recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
