Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' experiences and determine their specific treatment needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapies aimed at trauma recovery and resilience building.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in processing trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to promote healing, teach coping strategies, and support clients on their journey toward recovery.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists, case managers, and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping techniques to encourage understanding and participation in treatment.

• Maintain precise and confidential record-keeping in compliance with legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practices.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance practice quality and ensure adherence to trauma-informed care principles.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, offering specialized care that acknowledges their unique challenges and promotes healing. Our patient population includes survivors of PTSD, complex trauma, and other mental health conditions related to traumatic experiences. You will play a critical role in guiding them through their recovery journey and equipping them with the tools necessary for long-term resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on trauma care.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and effectively manage high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical applications.

• A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma therapy, crisis intervention, or working with diverse populations are highly preferred. Skills in specific evidence-based treatment modalities will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
