Allure Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This full-time position will offer the opportunity to provide specialized care to patients grappling with the aftermath of trauma. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to deliver therapy from the comfort of your home while still being part of a collaborative team. Your primary work time will be scheduled from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility to accommodate patient needs. This setup ensures you can maintain a work-life balance while focusing on providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, systematically evaluating each patient's trauma history to assess their needs and identify appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience, in collaboration with the patients and their families.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address patients' unique situations.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote overall emotional healing.
\n
• Engage in weekly case consultations and team meetings, collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your ability to remain calm under pressure.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, developing coping mechanisms, and informing them about available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient records are up-to-date within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By understanding the unique challenges faced by trauma survivors, you will tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet their distinct needs, fostering an atmosphere of hope and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach when connecting with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-focused populations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital applications related to therapeutic practice.

• Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions that promote healing and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on experience.
