Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological needs and develop comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Create individualized treatment plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring a focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, cultivate effective coping mechanisms, and support their journey towards healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring all aspects of the client's health are addressed.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and psychological well-being.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the impact of trauma, available resources, and effective coping strategies to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous confidentiality and accurate documentation as required by legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions centered on trauma-informed care practices to stay ahead in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients are often navigating challenging life situations that require specialized care and a deep understanding of trauma's effects on their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is strongly preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and a non-judgmental stance.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, offering crisis support when needed.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications to manage client documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions, particularly in a clinical or community health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
