Working at Premise Therapy Center offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, enhancing work-life balance while maintaining high-quality care through telehealth services. During your scheduled work hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will engage with clients, providing the crucial emotional and psychological support they require.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s trauma history, enabling personalized treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience building, and therapeutic progress.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focusing on techniques that help clients process trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other counselors, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and heard.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them to navigate the recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to established legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continued education aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-informed settings.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities aimed at fostering resilience and recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, underpinned by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Strong ability to remain composed and professional in high-stress situations and deliver thoughtful, timely responses to clients in crisis.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of licensed experience is required, candidates with additional experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapies, will be especially valued. Compensation and Benefits\n
