Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients’ history and needs to establish effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their healing journeys by fostering understanding and resilience.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary professionals to create integrated care plans that address all aspects of a patient’s wellbeing.

• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring that patients receive immediate and effective assistance during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering to all regulations and best practices.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and continued professional development focused on trauma-informed care approaches.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and situational circumstances, each requiring sensitivity and a tailored therapeutic approach. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is strongly preferred.
\n
• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and a firm grasp of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, showcasing proven effectiveness in helping clients recover.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong empathetic approach towards clients.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, ensuring a supportive environment for patients.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

We ideally seek candidates with a background in trauma-focused therapy and familiarity with evidence-based approaches to treatment. Experience in a telehealth setting will be considered an asset, as will additional certifications in trauma-informed approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
