Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the comfort of working from home while ensuring that you engage regularly with your patients through virtual therapy sessions. You will work a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions that provide a safe space for patients to explore their trauma experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate integrated care and support for our patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services to assist patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, while guiding them to appropriate resources.
\n
• Maintain rigorous, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous learning opportunities focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy to enhance treatment methods and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Mindful Healing Solutions, you will work primarily with individuals who are survivors of trauma. This includes but is not limited to, adults experiencing PTSD, children who have undergone traumatic events, and clients with complex psychological histories. Our patient-focused approach encourages you to employ empathetic communication and therapeutic techniques that facilitate hope and healing, ultimately transforming their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant setting preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Ability to remain composed and focused in high-stress environments.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient in relevant computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team structure.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we encourage applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences that demonstrate an understanding of trauma-focused therapies to apply. Experience in crisis management and team-based care approaches will be highly valued in our collaborative environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
