Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using trauma-informed approaches to evaluate patients' trauma history and strengths.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and skills for resilience-building.

• Utilize effective therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for patients to process their trauma and gain coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health care professionals for integrated care, ensuring continuity in treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, responding promptly and effectively.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including domestic violence, natural disasters, or military experiences. Your role is crucial in providing compassionate care that addresses both the psychological and emotional needs of these patients, helping them navigate their healing processes and rebuilding their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience employing trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach in working with patients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications.
\n
• A commitment to fostering a collaborative environment and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with two or more years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly working with trauma patients. Familiarity with trauma-focused therapies and a solid foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
