Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and determine the most effective course of treatment.

• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on trauma recovery. You will utilize methods like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to aid in recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma experiences and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services in emergency situations related to trauma, ensuring patients receive immediate support and care.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, fostering understanding and resilience in their recovery journey.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals grappling with trauma-related disorders, including children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges like PTSD and complex trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
