Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing resilience among patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver high-quality care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma experiences, cultivating coping strategies, and promoting healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, other mental health professionals, and community resources to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster a deeper understanding of their experiences.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance within the framework of mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma experiences, and dissociative disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have unique stories, which necessitates a tailored approach that honors their personal experiences while fostering healing. You will be part of a dedicated effort to empower these individuals, helping them develop resilience and coping strategies for long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a preference for those experienced in trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and a solid understanding of appropriate frameworks.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach and an ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide support during crises.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

• Strong collaboration skills to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
