The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide exceptional care to individuals impacted by trauma. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing overall resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process trauma experiences, cultivate coping mechanisms, and encourage healing.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care tailored to the individual needs of patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, practical coping strategies, and resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continued learning regarding the latest research, best practices, and methodologies related to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients who have experienced various forms of trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Strong background knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications relevant to clinical documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly dealing with trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
