Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal empowerment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during therapy sessions.

• Host individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and case managers, to provide integrated and comprehensive care to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that immediate and effective help is available.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to facilitate understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, particularly those struggling with PTSD and related disorders. You will work closely with a diverse clientele, providing a therapeutic space where they can share their experiences and work towards recovery at their own pace. By actively listening and employing evidence-based therapy techniques, you will play a vital role in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling capacity, preferably post-licensure.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a commitment to using best practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure and provide effective support in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to telehealth.

• Capability to work collaboratively as a valuable member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with additional training in trauma-informed care, certifications in trauma-focused therapeutic modalities, or previous telehealth experience. Strong familiarity with the challenges faced by trauma survivors and insight into community resources will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
