This role operates in a fully remote setting, allowing flexibility while working within a structured framework to ensure effective mental health support is delivered to our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' experiences and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience enhancement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing their trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and promoting overall well-being.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention services and immediate support to clients facing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to enhance understanding and support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities, all focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy methodologies to enhance practice effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve at Caring Companions are primarily survivors of trauma who may struggle with PTSD, complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and related mental health conditions. Our aim is to provide a supportive environment in which these individuals can seek healing and recovery, addressing their unique experiences and emotional needs with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress scenarios, ensuring a positive client experience.

• Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
