Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to develop personalized therapy plans.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Employing a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of the client's well-being.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to enhance your skills and stay informed about the latest research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including individuals who may face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Your role will be critical in providing support to those experiencing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse array of clients.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care will be strongly considered. Experience working with underserved populations is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this full-time LPC role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience and caseload availability.
