Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients in initial assessments to evaluate their mental health needs and determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and maintain individualized therapy plans to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients, providing them with appropriate therapeutic interventions and coping strategies to facilitate recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary for optimum client outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Document client treatment sessions accurately and promptly in our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and ensure cohesive treatment approaches.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families, promoting mental health literacy and effective communication between all parties.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse population, addressing various mental health needs across different demographic backgrounds. Many clients may be struggling with substance abuse, mood disorders, or the effects of trauma. Your comprehensive understanding of cultural competence in therapy will enhance the therapeutic relationship, allowing you to tailor interventions that respect and respond to each client’s individual experiences and cultural context.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in a range of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy sessions, integrating culturally responsive approaches to care.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in working with varied patient populations, particularly those with complex mental health issues.

• Advanced training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
