Work Environment\n

As a member of our outpatient psychiatric team, you will work primarily from the comfort of your home, contributing to a community-focused practice that prioritizes accessibility and individualized care. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Our remote setting allows for a work-life balance while continuing to engage meaningfully with your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs of each patient, establishing a foundation for effective treatment planning.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy tailored to individual, couple, and family dynamics.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health issues, while fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to create a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring continuous support across all levels of treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation following legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure streamlined processes.

• Actively engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to stay informed on best practices in mental health therapy.

• Continuously update your knowledge of current research and advancements in mental health treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our outpatient clinic specializes in treating a wide variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, providing therapy that respects and integrates their cultural and individual differences.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy across diverse demographic populations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills necessary for building rapport with clients and facilitating effective therapy.

• Strong ethical judgment and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

• Competence in using EHR systems and various computer applications relevant to patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
