Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history, challenges, and therapy goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the building of coping skills through collaborative discussions with patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients in their healing process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to help patients process their trauma experiences and foster coping strategies.

• Work in concert with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure quality of care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment strategies and stay updated on best practices in trauma-related care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, with a strong background in trauma-related disorders and treatment.

• Proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities and interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain composed and resilient in high-pressure situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to support effective documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year .
