Work Environment\n

This full-time remote position allows you flexibility in your schedule, primarily aligning with a Monday to Friday workweek from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While remote work is our standard, some adaptability may be necessary to meet the care needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments, assessing each patient's trauma history and creating targeted treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that emphasize recovery and resilience building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to support patients as they process their trauma and learn coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans for each client.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

• Educate patients and their families on the effects of trauma, effective coping strategies, and available resources for additional support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with both legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations and team meetings, contributing to our trauma-informed approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily work with clients affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients come from various backgrounds and have faced diverse forms of trauma, necessitating a nuanced understanding of individual experiences and tailored therapeutic interventions. Your expertise will be vital in guiding them through their recovery journeys, promoting healing, and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma care preferred.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience with delivering trauma-focused therapies and effective interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate ethos and a non-judgmental approach.

• A calm and composed demeanor, especially in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to engage effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
