Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand each client's history and therapeutic needs, establishing the groundwork for effective treatment.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and long-term wellbeing for each individual client.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients to articulate their trauma experiences and develop practical coping strategies.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary staff to provide comprehensive, cohesive care to each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients in need of immediate assistance related to trauma crises.
\n
• Educate both patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and accessible resources for additional support.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of all sessions to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the State of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
