Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and ascertain suitable treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and progress tracking.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at guiding patients through their trauma processing, coping strategies, and overall healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to guarantee integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance understanding and facilitate recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organization-specific standards.

The ideal candidate will work closely with trauma survivors, including individuals facing challenges associated with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical application of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

While we require a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, candidates who have previously worked in trauma-focused therapeutic settings and have hands-on experience with trauma therapies will be highly regarded.
