Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining composure and effective response techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Independence Therapy Center, you will primarily work with clients who are trauma survivors. Our patient population includes individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and work towards achieving a healthier, more balanced life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, with a commitment to ongoing learning.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
