Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories, which will inform your individualized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and resilience-building, while adapting to the evolving needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy to help patients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster holistic healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure seamless and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and appropriate assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their recovery process.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of patient records in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.

In this role, you will provide care primarily to individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of domestic violence, combat veterans, and those facing complex psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
