Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, which will guide the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group settings.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care through regular consultations and care coordination.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support for affected patients.

• Engage in patient and family education regarding trauma responses and coping strategies, providing vital resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while adhering to best practices in telehealth service delivery.

• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities focusing on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients who are trauma survivors, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is vital in creating tailored interventions that address unique trauma responses and fostering an atmosphere of trust and healing. Your empathetic approach and understanding of different trauma experiences will be indispensable in guiding clients toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A strong theoretical grounding in trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
