This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide crucial mental health support to individuals navigating the challenges of trauma. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility to meet the needs of our clients in a comfortable and effective setting. While working from home, you will be part of an enthusiastic team committed to trauma recovery. Our work hours are primarily Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required depending on client scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ history and current mental health needs, ensuring effective treatment planning.

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine individualized treatment plans that focus on resilience-building and trauma recovery, using methods that resonate with each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including specialized approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to guide clients through the healing process, equipping them with coping strategies and emotional regulation skills.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during moments of acute trauma-related distress, including immediate emotional support and resource referrals.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available therapeutic options, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development, focusing on the delivery of trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma therapy methodologies and participate in training opportunities to enhance your skills and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our diverse patient population encompasses adults of varying backgrounds, each with unique experiences and needs. We aim to provide culturally competent care that respects and responds to the specific challenges faced by these individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating expertise in trauma-informed care practices.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and a repertoire of treatment modalities designed for trauma recovery.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients.
\n
• A calm demeanor in high-stress situations and the ability to provide support and guidance during crises.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications essential for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative spirit and willingness to work as part of a dynamic team dedicated to trauma-informed practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
