Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients' trauma experiences and establish effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeted at trauma recovery and fostering resilience, tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate personal healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma, cultivating coping mechanisms, and nurturing a path to healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, holistic care for all patients, contributing to their overall mental health improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
