Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and specific needs.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience enhancement, and holistic well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group sessions that empower patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention support as necessary, utilizing your skills to help manage acute trauma-related situations effectively.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, adaptive coping strategies, and external resources available for support.

• Maintain complete, confidential, and accurate records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuous learning by staying updated on the latest practices, conducting case consultations, and participating in team discussions focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from traumatic experiences, including those who have faced significant challenges such as abuse, neglect, and significant life changes. This role not only requires mental health expertise but also emphasizes compassion and empathy, providing your patients with a sense of safety and understanding as they navigate their healing paths.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a history of compassionate and effective patient interactions.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health records and various clinical documentation tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with exemplary skills and a strong background in trauma therapy will be strongly considered. Compensation and Benefits\n
