Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Thrive, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate each patient's trauma history and determine tailored treatment strategies.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the processing of trauma and the development of effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and integrated treatment approaches.

• Delivering crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to provide immediate care and stability.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about the effects of trauma, healthy coping mechanisms, and available supportive resources.

• Maintaining thorough and accurate patient documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives centered on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be primarily working with an adult population of individuals battling the effects of traumatic experiences, including those diagnosed with PTSD and complex trauma. We prioritize fostering a trusting, non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients can engage in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment frameworks.
\n
• Demonstrable competencies in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating empathy and an ability to connect with clients.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and effective during high-stress situations and crises.
\n
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

• Collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with two or more years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in settings focused on trauma recovery. Previous experience with community outreach and engagement may be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
