Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and individual therapy sessions for clients facing mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote shared experiences and learning among participants, fostering a supportive community.

• Develop customized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.

• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice, in accordance with all legal regulations governing mental health.

• Assist clients in exploring various treatment options and support their decision-making process.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, coordinating services as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who are facing various mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Family and Marriage Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A valid state license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW is required.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling or therapy.

• Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional conduct.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on building trusting relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 3 years of experience is required, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR or DBT will be viewed favorably. An understanding of the issues faced by diverse populations in the Bakersfield area is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
