Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to determine clients' mental health status and specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Engage in ongoing sessions with clients to track their progress, providing continual support and adjustments as needed.

• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to document therapy sessions, treatment plans, and client progress accurately.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, for comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention that helps clients navigate immediate emotional challenges.

• Offer referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary to ensure clients receive holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will bring cultural competence to therapy sessions, ensuring that clients from all backgrounds feel understood and supported. Your expertise will enable you to advocate for your clients, helping them navigate adversity and work towards their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic practice.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, employing inclusive and responsive therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
