Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide therapy while connecting with clients in a comfortable, professional manner. You will work within a cohesive team of mental health professionals dedicated to trauma recovery, participating in regular consultations and meetings to ensure high standards of care. The position requires a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments, utilizing trauma-informed techniques to evaluate patients' histories and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention support, guiding clients through trauma-related emergencies with empathy and expertise.
\n
• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated care and optimal outcomes for patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma recovery, coping mechanisms, and various support resources available to them.

• Maintain detailed and secure client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to stay at the forefront of trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients whose lives have been affected by trauma, including those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By using a compassionate and personalized approach, you will help guide these individuals through their healing journeys, equipping them with effective coping strategies and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with a non-judgmental, compassionate demeanor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology for documentation and reporting methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
