Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients presenting with mood disorders, evaluating the severity, duration, and impact of their symptoms on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with patients to craft individualized and effective treatment plans that meet their unique psychological and emotional needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Provide education and ongoing support to clients and their families concerning mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and essential self-care strategies.

• Track and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Engage in regular consultations with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to deliver integrated care for our clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health and mood disorder treatment.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential records of client sessions and treatment plans.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities, enhancing clinical practice and adherence to best practices.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working towards de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals grappling with various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our clientele comprises adults from diverse backgrounds, requiring you to exhibit cultural sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approach to effectively support their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
