Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing mental health assessments through interviews and standardized tools, documenting each client's progress from the first consultation to treatment conclusion.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs of clients, including therapy modalities suitable for individuals and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual sessions and group therapy interventions, using evidence-based practices to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and interventions based on observed results and feedback.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to provide comprehensive care that extends beyond therapy sessions.

• Manage referrals proactively, ensuring clients receive appropriate services, including follow-ups with other healthcare providers when necessary.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and develop strategies to assist clients in overcoming these challenges, including educating families and caregivers on mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. You will play a crucial role in guiding people through their struggles, empowering them to improve their mental health and build resilience. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like AVATAR to document patient care and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, that facilitate constructive dialogue with clients and team members.

• Strong interpersonal aptitude with a compassionate approach, fostering trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical or community health setting will be beneficial.
