Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments and maintain meticulous documentation from initial consultations to the culmination of treatment, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each patient's unique situation.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform treatment decisions.

• Design individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored not only for individuals but also for couples and families, emphasizing collaborative goal-setting with clients.

• Lead engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for participants to share and explore their experiences.

• Continuously monitor patient progress throughout the treatment plan and adjust interventions as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Work closely with other mental health specialists as well as medical professionals to develop integrated intervention strategies, demonstrating an interdisciplinary approach to client care.

• Facilitate follow-ups with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify and prevent behaviors that may interfere with recovery, providing proactive support and crisis intervention when needed.

• Offer guidance and resources to family members and primary caregivers to help them manage behavioral and emotional challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position requires dedication to serving a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor with a track record of successful client outcomes.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for efficient documentation and patient management.

• Demonstrated experience dealing with co-occurring disorders, underscoring an understanding of both mental and physical health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
