Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and customize individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and facilitate their healing journey.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure a unified and integrated care approach for all patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, handling sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources to empower them in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve assisting individuals who have experienced significant trauma. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet varying needs, including those coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and related behavioral health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
