Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on skill development, emotional processing, and trauma-informed coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms to manage symptoms effectively.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage in regular consultations and teamwork to enhance treatment effectiveness and share best practices within the clinical team.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in trauma therapy to continually improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are trauma survivors, including individuals dealing with PTSD and complex traumatic experiences. Our diverse patient population may include adults, adolescents, and families seeking recovery from past traumas, requiring a therapist who is not only skilled but genuinely empathetic and attuned to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment practices.

• Excellent interpersonal skills along with a compassionate demeanor.

• Proficiency in electronic health records and various computer applications relevant to mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
