Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients and identify tailored treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, adjusting as necessary for efficacy.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate individual therapy, alongside structured group sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping skills, and available resources to foster understanding and support.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies during emergencies to ensure immediate support for clients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations and professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will largely consist of trauma survivors, including those who suffer from PTSD and dissociative disorders. You will facilitate therapeutic interventions that promote healing, resilience, and personal growth, thereby significantly impacting their mental health journey. The supportive nature of our outpatient office allows for a safe space where clients can express themselves and work through their histories.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A solid foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care principles.

• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, and a non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health records and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
