Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and identify the most appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique path to recovery, incorporating trauma-informed methodologies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and foster resilience.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated, holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the immediate safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance support networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably focused on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Blomquist Hale Behavioral Health offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
