Raven's Mouth Integrated Life Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in Hialeah, Florida. This full-time role offers unique opportunities to provide both telehealth and in-person therapy sessions aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building for our diverse patient population. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to connect with clients in a comfortable and flexible manner. However, you will also have the opportunity to conduct face-to-face sessions at our community health clinic located in Hialeah, allowing for personal interaction with clients who may benefit from in-person services. Our clinic is designed to be an inviting space where clients feel safe and valued. We maintain standard operating hours from seven in the morning until ten at night, seven days a week, to accommodate a diverse range of schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identify appropriate treatment approaches tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Develop, implement, and continuously adapt individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to enable clients to process their trauma and improve their coping strategies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in processing traumatic experiences and promoting emotional healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, effectively managing and responding to immediate needs.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resource availability to foster understanding and self-advocacy.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Continuously update knowledge on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMHC in the state of Florida.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with a compassionate demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable to effectively engage with our patient population.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000, reflecting your experience and qualifications. We offer competitive pay along with annual increases and bonus opportunities.
