Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ history and identify suitable treatment options.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and cultivating a healing environment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach for every patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and families on trauma responses, effective coping tools, and available community resources to foster understanding and support.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n
